Guinea Pigs

Keeping up with the animal theme, we finally got a nice pic of the 3 guinea pigs (by placing them in the empty bath tub with some towels - then editing some poos out of the pic lol!!!)

From left to right: Stockings, Curly, & Clover. There is an interesting story about these three, and it starts with Clover.

There once was a guinea pig called Cloe, who was rescued by an animal shelter, and we took her in, and gave her a home. We had just spent a bit of money on our old boy Chocolate, so that he could no longer make more babies with our elderly lady Angel! Cloe went to visit some friends of ours with 2 male piggies, in the hope that Cloe might have some babies of her own. It did not end well, as I had to intervene and break up a nasty fight, which resulted in Cloe and one of her new mates being taken to the Vet. Needless to say, Cloe got better, and I gave up on the idea of more babies. Until.............Angel had some babies of her own. Now, with Chocolate no longer able to make babies, and Cloe being a female, how could that be??? Mmm..........we kept one baby, and found homes for the others. Then Angel became pregnant again, and so did one of her female babies. You guessed it........Cloe was a boy! Cloe then came to be known as Clover. Clover has since had an operation so that HE can no longer make babies.

Stockings is the baby that Clover made with Angel, and Curly is Stockings baby. Mmm....'nuff said!
